He was predeceased by: his parents, Espie Thomas and Lillian Gertrude Dawson (Smith); his siblings, Tom Dawson, Mary Zumwalt, Carol Jakubczak, Betty Hughes and Burins Dawson; and his nephew Kevin Dawson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Burnis and Dolores Bassett of Lee's Summit, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Regina, Phyllis, Tammy, Pam, Lynne, Tanya, Vincent, Espie, Steve and Tom.
Sadly, when Covid hit, he was not able to join us for the holidays.
