He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Hunter and Lila Maureen Long Combs; his wife Carol Schierding; his children, Steve Combs (Carmen) and Christina Sharp (David) of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Austin Horn, Jacob Sharp, Cade Combs, Shelby Sharp, Baylie Combs, Trace Combs and Brody Combs.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Harrisburg Bulldog Foundation and may be sent to Harrisburg Administration Building, 1000 S. Harris St., Harrisburg, MO 65256.
