He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Herman and Mary Edyth Curtis (Corbett). He is survived by: his children, Travis Curtis of Richmond and Tracy Anderson of Norborne; his grandchildren, Nick Anderson, Eli Anderson, Lincoln Curtis, William Curtis and Kelsey Arnold; his siblings, Tim Curtis of Richmond, Carol Curtis of Hardin and Marian Shaner of Hardin; and his nephew Curtis Shaner of Hardin. He is also survived by other extended family and his many friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the T.J. Curtis Memorial Fund.
