It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Wayne Francis of Hardin, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Harold Eugene; and his granddaughter Katelyn Elizabeth Hawkins. He is survived by: his mother Mary Frances Francis (Van Dyke) of Richmond; his wife Norma Hubble of Independence; his children, Jeremy Francis (Amy) of Liberty and Kelly Hawkins (Landon) of Hardin; his grandsons, Sam Hawkins (Kylin), Nate Hawkins, Drew Hawkins, Alex Francis and Evan Francis; and his siblings, David Francis (Judy) of Forsythe, Eric Francis (Lillian) of Riverside and Lois Valero (Jay) of Twentynine Palms, CA..
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Roland Francis Memorial Fund to be used to help children attend scout camp.
