He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Edward and Elsie Bell Russell (Dooley); his brother Robert "Bob" Russell; and his brother-in-law Norman Gene Strain. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Louise Russell of Hardin; his sons, Scott Russell (Rhonda) of Hardin and Dennis Kallenberger (Darlene) of Richmond; his grandson Walker Russell of Blue Springs; his sister Gloria Early (Ben) of Simpsonville, KY; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Strain of Hardin, Charles Strain of Richmond, L. W. Strain of Apache Junction, AZ and Sue Stark of Carrollton.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Children's Mercy Hospital or to the Hardin Cemetery.
