It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Kay Leach of Hardin, Missouri, born in Henrietta, Missouri, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleatus Van and Elsie Lee Burnine (Swafford); and her siblings, Harold Henry "Hank" Burnine (JoAnn), Robert Wayne Burnine and Sherivan McGill.
She is survived by: her husband James A. "Jimmy" Leach of Hardin; her children, Kim Class (Mike) of Liberty, Amy Wirsig (Jeff) of Richmond, Laurinda Almendares (Bennie) of St. Robert and Jonathan Leach of Hardin; her grandchildren, Ava, Lily, Linkin Wirsig, Jake, Zach Class, R. J. and Emma Almendares; her siblings, Cleatus Burnine of Richmond and Terrie Mais (Donnie) of Lake; and her sister-in-law Mary Jo Burnine of Lee's Summit. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond Education Foundation.
