She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Teegarden, and Jessie L. Teegarden, Jr. (Goodman); her husband Rev. Robert Young Gant of Knoxville; her brothers, Robert W. Teegarden and Aaron A. Teegarden; and her granddaughter Shelia Dawn Gant.
She is survived by: her children, Robert W. Gant (Charlotte) of Jacksonville, FL, Lonnie E. Gant (Carolyn) of Lawson, H. Dennis Gant (Nancy) of Hardin and Sheila A. Cain (Billy) of Blythedale; and her grandchildren, Robert Eric Gant (Lori), Jesse Allen Gant (Amy), Brian Eugene Gant (Mindy), Kelly Ray Gant (Priya), Mark Dennis Gant (Jennifer) and Jason Aaron Gant (Jennifer). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hardin United Methodist Church.
