He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lewis Stover and Martha Maxine King Stover; his siblings, Jerry Stover and Sharon Bowen; his great grandchild Conner Donlevy; and his brother-in-law Mike Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Joann Lieurance; his children, William "Joe" Joseph Stover (Lisa McKay) of Hannibal and Melissa Renee Stover Meyer (James) of Hannibal, Missouri; his sister Betty Williams (Danny Powell) of Hannibal, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ashley Donlevy (Cody), Justin Meyer (Lacy) and James C. Meyer (Shelby); and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Donlevy, Brooklyn Donlevy, Zaelyn Meyer and Jaxten Meyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
