He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. and Ruth Shaw, Sr. (Mackison); his wife Bernadine "Bernie" Schwartz; his brother Lester Shaw; and his grandsons, George Clayton V and Chase Shaw.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Shaw (Emily) of Lake Ozark, MO, Sharon Hoffmann of St. Charles, MO, Barb O'Brien and Tommy Eddy of Hannibal, MO; and his grandchildren, Derek O'Brien, Ashley O'Brien, Brittni Deardeuff (Ethan), Justin Shaw, Danny Hoffmann (Kristen), Chris Hoffmann (Elizabeth) and Leah O'Donnell (Patrick). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
