He was predeceased by: his parents, Karoly Kovac and Joolan Buck. He is survived by: his wife Josie Roy Kovacs; his children, Susan "Suzy" Wood (Peter) of Glendale, Kimberly Kovacs (Rick Armor) of Van Alstyne, Antoni Waghelstein of Vancouver and British Columbia; his brother Karl Kovacs of Germany; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Wood and Aidan Wood.
