She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Thomas McLeod and Agnes Lorine Closser McLeod; her husband Joseph McAfee Ely; her sons, Michael Anthony McLeod and Kevin Wayne McLeod; her siblings, Mildred Dillman and Bobby Joe McLeod; and her brothers-in-law, Vernon Dillman, Sr. and William Oglesby.
She is survived by: her son Ron Mathew Ely of Hannibal, MO; her daughters-in-law, Lilly McLeod and Dianna McLeod; her siblings, Russell McLeod (Lois), Jimmy McLeod (Mary), Bonnie Oglesby, Carolyn Leezy (Richard) and Debbie McLeod; her sister-in-law Veda McLeod; her grandchildren, Emma McLeod, Dakeeta Planty, Manolito Jones (Sarah), Kevan Powell and Anthony McLeod (Amber); and her great grandchildren, Nadiya Planty, Cassidy Powell, Giana Powell, Alexandria Jones and Lennox McLeod. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
