She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. May and Gladys Alldredge May; and her husband Ronald R. "JP" Vanover. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Ann Clark of Hannibal, MO; her sisters, Veda Grey (Randall) of Springdale, AR and Judith Ann Kessler of Waterloo, IL; her daughters, Kathy Kessler and Tina Ford; her grandchildren, Billy Clark (Elicia), Marie Ann Davis (Allen) and Joey Clark; her great grandchildren, Robbie Clark, Maddy Clark, Noah William Henry Heimer, Elizabeth Marie Heimer, Laurona May Davis, Lilith Marie Davis and John Allen Davis; and her cousin Mary Williams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
