He was predeceased by: his parents, David Stewart and Elisabeth Stewart (Robinson); his wife Joyce Irene Bowman; and his siblings, Dan Stewart, David L. Stewart, Betty Rhodes and Nancy Long.
He is survived by: his children, David Stewart (Cathy) of Hannibal, MO and Karen Folwarski (Tom) of Saint Louis, MO; and his granddaughters, Erin Fete (Clay), Jenna Kopff (Dave), Kim Brown (Rob), Sara Sieve (Tony), Christy Adams (Michael) and Lindsey Montague (Marcus). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Loving Care Hospice or Beth Haven Nursing Home, in care of Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
