He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Chapman and Roberta Lewis Chapman; his spouse Jean E. Rupp; his siblings, Elizabeth Steffy, Robert L. Chapman and Charles E. Chapman Jr.; his sister-in-law Jeanette Rupp; and his nephews, Jeff Rupp, Jon Rupp and Ted Rupp.
He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Robert Rupp and Thomas Rupp; and his extended family Richard Rupp. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
