Temple Yancey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Temple Yancey of Hannibal, Missouri, born in Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Temple Willis and Ada Pasley Willis of Virginia; and her brother James Willis. She is survived by: her husband John Elton Yancey; her children, Gretchen Lea Yancey (James Evans) of Columbia, MO, Gabrielle Lynn Pruett (Josiah) of Hannibal, MO, Timothy Craig Yancey (Jeannie) of St. Louis, MO and Jana Yancey Emory (Bryan) of Nixa, MO; her sisters, Peggy Martin (Wayne) and Jeanette Davis; her sister-in-law Marja Willis; and her grandchildren, Grace Yancey Rogers, Faith Yancey Rogers, Ian Pruett, Brandi Gump (Emory), Brad Emory, Holly Mattox and Niles Mattox. She is also survived by her children, their friends, and her grandchildren.
