We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2021, at the age of 6, Summer Rain Shanks of Hannibal, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Logan Allen "Loki" Shanks; her grandparents, Marchita Sue Riley and James William Riley; and her stepfather Jason Scott Carpenter. She is survived by: her parents, Samuel Joseph Shanks and Kristain Hope Riley Carpenter; and her brother Hayden James Riley. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the James O'Donnell Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
