He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Genovese and Ann Hehmeyer Genovese; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Williams and Carey Toalson. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Genovese of Hannibal; his children, Tara Genovese of Hannibal, MO and Brian Genovese of Hannibal, MO; his siblings, Walter Genovese of Vandalia, MO, Barb Williams of Hannibal, MO, Brenda Toalson of Hannibal, MO and Sandra Harrison (Kent) of Hannibal, MO; and his grandchildren, Avery, Tanner, Nick, Faith, Jake and Abby.

Memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Missouri Humane Society or Beth Haven Nursing Home, in care of Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
