He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Janes and Martha Buskirk Janes; his children, Dennis William Janes and Deanna Lynn David; his brother William Oltman (Betty); and his nephew Bryan Janes.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Yvonne Aderton; his children, David Robert Janes (Jan) of Hannibal, MO, Daniel Patrick Janes (Gina) of Hannibal, MO and Dana Kay McAfee (Tom) of New London, MO; his brothers, Larry Janes (Ernestine) of Hannibal, MO and Pat Janes (Jill) of Hannibal, MO; his grandchildren, Katie, Courtney, Jacob, Lee, Emily, Clinton, Weston, Abbey, Amy and Anna; and his great grandchild Lyndee Dees. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
