He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Haden Griffith and Mary Ellen Wright Griffith; and his brother Virgil Terrill Griffith. He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Fields; and his siblings, David L. Griffith of Hannibal, MO and Shirley Cornelius of Hannibal, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Great River Honor Flight.
