She is survived by: her aunt Nola; her uncle Basil Hedgpeth; her spouse Harlon Lain; her children, Curtis Lain (Tonja), Debra Williams (Todd) of Hannibal and Cathy Jo Fohey (John) of Palmyra; her great grandchild Daxtyn Williams; her in-laws, Dorothy and Homer Lain; her brother-in-law Dave Cowden; her nieces and nephews, Danita Harpole, Jon Kenday, Jimmy Kenady, Kira Lynn Kenady, Steven Hull and Anthony German; her sister Dottie German; her daughter Carrie Overfelt of Titusville, Florida.; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Cowden (Gary Dicks) of Hannibal and Carol Kenady (Leon) of Hull, Ill..
Her last giving gesture was donating her eyes to the Saving Sight organization for research and education. Those who wish to honor Mom can donate to two organizations that she supported, St. Jude's Children Research Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Project.
