We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2023, at the age of 84, Nerys Lightner of Hannibal, Missouri, born in Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nerys Lightner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Klotzle and Pearl Elizabeth Griffon Klotzle; and her son Kyle Lightner. She is survived by: her husband Peter A. Lightner; her children, Eric Lightner (Aom) of Thailand, Kirsten Holcomb (Chad) of Wyandotte, OK and Andrea van Zant (Maurice) of Indianapolis, IN; her brother Robert Klotzle of Warren, OH; and her pet Ember. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the James E. Cary Cancer Center.
