She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Louis Novel and Mabel Lorene Hodges Novel; and her brothers, Louis Dean Novel, Kenneth Virgil Novel and Charles Robert Novel.

She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Wade; her daughters, Myra Miller (Michael) of Hannibal, MO and Christina Herren (Darryl) of Hannibal, MO; her grandchildren, Mathew Herren (Kathleen), Aimee Danforth, Cheyanna Miller and Charles Miller; and her great grandchildren, James Herren, Emily Herren, Henry Herren, Dylan Danforth and Bradlee Danforth. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
