She was predeceased by: her parents, Berthel Carman and Mary Ann Patterson; her spouse Lacy Thomas; her grandchildren, Daniela Thomas and Kyle Thomas; her children, Mary Sheffield, Jean Powell and Bucky Thomas; her son-in-law Jim Powell; her great grandchild Gabriele Powell; her sisters, Christine Bryant, Earlene Thompson and Barb Schuesler; and her brothers-in-law, Lee Bryant, Charles Thompson and Merle Schuesler.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Thomas (Heide) of Kewanee, Theresa Egbert (Ron) of Hannibal, Dan Thomas (Sue) of New London and Becky Tucker (Ken) of Frankford, Missouri; and her children-in-law, Jim Sheffield of Quincy, Illinois and Sheree Thomas of Auxvasse, Missouri. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
