She is survived by: her parents, Dennis Hecker and Rita Hecker (Thornton) of Independence, MO; her husband Rick Ellison; her children, Creston Brown (Heather) of Hannibal, MO, Taylor Brown (Jessi) of Hannibal, MO, Heather Ellison of Walnut Creek, CA, Amy Bales (Tom) of Shawnee, KS and Hillary Dodwell (Clayton) of Springfield, MO; her siblings, Doug Hecker (Charla) of Liberty, MO, Monica (Hecker) and Snelson (Scott) of Independence, MO; and her grandchildren, J. T. Brown, Wyatt Brown, Livia Bales and Charlie Bales. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Bank of Northeast Missouri, St. William Catholic Church, Holy Family Catholic Church, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or Northeast Missouri Humane Society.
