She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Hoyt McDowell and Mary Patricia McDowell (O'Brien); and her brothers, Willard "Bill" McDowell and Thomas P. McDowell. She is survived by: her brother James McDowell of Quincy, IL; and her aunt Mary Frances McDowell of Quincy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
