Linda Kortas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Kortas of Hannibal, Missouri, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on June 25, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Gates and Odessa Gates (Lockhart); and her brothers, Bill Gates and Clay Gates. She is survived by: her children, Mary Watkins of Hannibal, MO, Shawn Walker (Colleen) of Virginia and William Whaley (Esther) of Missouri; and her siblings, Johnnie Lee Gates, Jr. of Wisconsin and Bonnie Gates of Texas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great grand children and several nieces and nephews.
