It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Clayton Piper of Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard James Piper and Dorothy Marie Whitaker Piper; and his grandson Jaime Peiter. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Harding; his children, Ranie Rae McLaughlin (Jim) of Chaplin, MO, Shannon Christine Thomure (Brent) of Hannibal, MO, Brandy Kay Kalvig of Hannibal, MO, Tiffany Lynn Rose (Brian) of Frankford, MO and Jamie Marie Piper of Minnesota; his stepmother June Piper; his brother Mike Whitlock; his grandchildren, Dusty Piper (Jess) of Kansas City, MO and Jay Piper of Kansas City, MO; and his sisters, Linda Immegart (Jack) of Hannibal, MO, Alesia "Gator" Hamilton (Lonnie) of Savannah, MO, Cindy Tucker of Texas and Diedre "Sam" Mariest (Allen) of Texas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
