He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joseph Ely; his wife Dianna Jones; his mother Wanda Ely of Hannibal, MO; his children, Manolito Jones (Sarah) of Leawood, KS, Dakeeta Planty of Hannibal, MO, Kevan Powell of Austin, TX and Anthony McLeod (Amber) of Omaha, NE; his brother Ron Ely of Hannibal, MO; his grandchildren, William Cassidy Powell, Giana Willow Powell, Nadiya Leigh Planty, Alexandria Quinn Jones and Lennox Nicole McLeod; his niece Emma McLeod; his sister-in-law Lilly McLeod; his brother Mike McLeod; and his mother-in-law Thelma Jones. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters in law and brothers in law and other nieces and nephews.
