It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Waelder of Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Waelder and Julia Waelder (Haworth); and his siblings, Eugene Waelder, Jr., Jack Edward Waelder, Harold Dean Waelder, Betty Waelder, Joanne Power, Marilyn Hammock and Carolyn Waelder.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Waelder; his children, Kevin Waelder (Barb) of O'Fallon, MO, Jeffrey Waelder and Alicia Waelder of Indianapolis, IN; his sisters, Mary "Fonnie" Fletcher (Tom) of Hannibal, MO and Norma Perkins; his grandchildren, Jennifer Waelder, Jeffrey Waelder II, Jason Waelder and Ellie Lee (Drew); and his great grandchildren, Lexie, Liam, Emerson and Barret.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
