She was predeceased by: her parents, George D. Bastian Jr. and Marie E. Deason Bastian; and her brother George D. Bastian III. She is survived by: her husband Jim Whitaker; her children, Cyndee Hodges Mastin of New London, MO, Mandy Comeau (Lance) of Palmyra, MO, Aaron Hodges (Kala) of New London, MO and Rachel Monger (Robbie) of Fayetteville, NC; her grandchildren, Grace Mastin, Savannah Comeau, Emma Hodges, Wade Hodges, Alex Monger, Reagan Monger and Stephen Monger; her nephew Nick Bastian; and her close friend Dawn Ebers Smith.
