She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse D. Johnson and Pearl M. Freeman Johnson; her husband Gary D. Stanton; her children, Michael D. "Mickey" DeHeer, Laurie N. DeHeer and Carol S. DeHeer; her brother Gary Johnson; her stepchildren, Brenda Stanton and Scott Stanton; her daughter-in-law Denice DeHeer; and her great-niece Kenslie Mae Tompkins.

She is survived by: her son Jerry DeHeer (Colette) of San Bernardino, CA; her stepchildren, Trudy Taylor (Steve) of Riverside, CA, John Stanton of Oregon, Karen Spittler-Carrier of Hawaii and Mark Spittler (Erin) of Orlando, FL; her siblings, Michael Johnson of San Bernardino, CA and Julia A. Campbell of Hannibal, MO; her grandchildren, Teasha DeHeer, Kandice Wolfe (Aaron) and Krystal Jones (John); her niece Tammy Jane Brownell (Alan) of Hannibal, MO; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nova Sawyer, Christina Weis, Joshua Sawyer, Brittany Widebrook, Matthew Weis and Heather Tompkins. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and great great nephews.
