He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Fry and Alice Catherine Schultz Fry; and his siblings, Carolyn Shaw, Mary Alice Moretti, Gentry Fry, Richard Fry and Joseph Fry.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Adams Fry (Cindy) of Gainesville; and his sister Norma Jean Northcutt of Hannibal, Missouri.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
