He was predeceased by: his father James Clayton Majors; and his grandmother Alice Moss. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Lee Moss Majors; his children, Kevin Majors of Kansas, James Michael Majors Jr. of Hannibal and Valerie Hooper of St. Joseph; his siblings, Randy Majors (Wendy) of Hannibal and Lisa Pickens (Mason) of Lebanon; and his grandchildren, Sheylan Reed and Manuel Alaverez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
