He was predeceased by: his wife Marjory Lear Janes; his siblings, Theodore Thomas Janes, Jr., Roeta Anne Janes and Agnes Louise Miller; and his granddaughter Jennifer Diane Janes.
He is survived by: his children, Janis Anne, James Edwin (Bud), Bud (Carol), John Hannibal (Nancy), Jerry (Elaine), Jeana Drebenstedt (Denny) of Philadelphia, MO and Judy Stone (Rick). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
