It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Allen Whittaker (Hannibal, Missouri), who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Martha S. Shanks Whittaker; her son James "Markie" Elzea; and her siblings, Melissa Gerry, Rose "Pooley" Elzea and David Whittaker.
She is survived by: her father David G. Whittaker of Hannibal, MO; her son Shaun Elzea of Hannibal, MO; her significant other Gary Mittelberg; her siblings, Delmar Whittaker of Hannibal, MO, Margetta Lain (Bill) of Hannibal, MO and Mary Ellen Cox (Ronnie) of Hannibal; and her grandchildren, Semiaj and Cameron. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
