He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis White and Edna Houser White; his wife Cheryl Breshears; his children, Darrell White and Shelia Combs; his grandchildren, Dustin White and Alexis Niffen; his great grandchild Nova Marshall; and his brothers, Claude White and Clifford "Wayne" White.
He is survived by: his children, Robert White (Jennifer), Melissa White, Bethane Large (James), Stephanie Santa Maria, Sarah Walker, Katrina Evans (Austin) and Hershell White, Jr. (Helga); his stepson Bryan Stone; and his siblings, Charles White (Sharon), Arthur White (Mary), Martha White, Libby Brinkley, Virginia Haden (John), Oralee Foutes (Larry) and Tina Graham. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
