He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Riedel and Betty F. Feeney Riedel; his sister Mary Martha Riedel Muckler; and his grandmothers, Emogene Riedel and Eileen Feeney.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ann Keller (George) of Palmyra, George Riedel (Pam) of Columbia and Phillip Riedel of Lawrence; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Ward (Mike) of Lawrence, Dr. Christopher Riedel (Liz Smith) of Norman, Amelia Jackson (Alex Jackson) of Conway and Dr. Alan Keller of Portland; his great-niece Berkley Ward; and his great-nephew Logan Ward.
