He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricio Rivera and Margarita Rivera; his stepfather Maximino Nieves; his father-in-law Howard Wilkerson; and his granddaughter Mariah Hays.
He is survived by: his children, Hector and Sonia (Hector); his significant other Patricia Ann Wilkerson of Hannibal; his daughters, Becky St. Clair (Curt) of Hannibal and Kim Hays (Chad) of Monroe City; his grandson Casey St. Clair (Kristen Frost); his great grandchild Maesyn Berghager; his daughters, Makenzie of Monroe City and Marissa of Monroe City; his sister Sonia Calvert (Carl); his mother-in-law Kathryn Wilkerson; and his brother-in-law Charles Wilkerson (Beverly). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the James Cary Cancer Center or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
