He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey L. Kemp and Bessie Kemp; his wife Dorothy Ann Kemp; his sister-in-law Kathleen Kelly; and his son Harvey L. Kemp, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Phillip "Tony" Kemp (Deborah); his grandson Phillip Kemp II (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Jaelyn Kemp of Phillip Kemp, III, Liza Grace Kemp and Gideon Kemp; his siblings-in-law, Phillip Smith, Constance Morrison and Bill Morrison; and his nephews, Sherman James, Robert Boone, Marcus Smith, John A. Smith and Martin Morrison.
