She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Profitt and Eliza Helton Profitt; her husband James Earl Moffitt; and her children, Janice Hahn and James Walter Moffitt of Springfield.

She is survived by: her children, Joyce Lewis (Cletus) of Hannibal, MO, Joe Moffitt (Kathy) of Springfield, Gary Moffitt (Cheryl) of Springfield, Thomas Moffitt (Rita) of Ashland, Eugene Moffitt (Laura) of Modesto, Michael Moffitt (Terry) of White Hall, David Moffitt (Martha) of Ashland, Marty Moffitt (Barb) of White Hall, Richard Aten (Maxine) of Phoenix, AZ and Ronald Aten (Rita) of Taylorville. She is also survived by twenty five grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
