She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Sterbuck and Susan Sterbuck; her siblings, Paul Sterbuck and Judy Sterbuck Cornelius; her niece Cynthia Jane Short; her husband Gene Lambert; her daughters, Claudia Shingler and Lisa Shingler; her sister Betty Sterbuck Salmon; her son-in-law Stephen Short; her stepson Phillip Lambert (Kelly Lambert); her grandchildren, Jessica Short, Lindsey Shingler, Travis Short (Jody Short), Sierra Lambert and Bree Lambert; her great grandchildren, Averie Short and Aaron Short; and her daughter Cynthia.
