Emory Smashey Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emory Smashey Sr. of Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Smashey and Lula Bell Smashey (Moore); his wife Loretta J. Rausch; his siblings, Wallace, Francis, Russell, David, Clarence, Levena Dickensheets and Miriam Nixon; and his grandsons, Terrance and Billy Smashey, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Emory Smashey, Jr. (Cathy) of Hannibal, Linda Bramblett (Melvin) of Hannibal, Loretta Davis of Hannibal and Deneta Sneed of Raytown, MO. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hannibal Nutrition Center, in care of the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
