She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Alan and Pearl Eugene Sanderson Cohea; and her son Clark B. Surls, Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Clark Surls, Sr.; her sons, Gary J. Dowell (Maria) of Hannibal, MO and Paul A. Surls (Melva) of Belton, MO; her grandchildren, Brandon Surls, John Paul Surls, Christina Geiger (Rob) and Ryan Dowell (Bretta); her nephews, Wayne Shuck, Gerald Shuck, John Shuck and Roy Shuck; and her niece Sharon Huston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
