He was predeceased by: his daughter Robin Reiter; and his brother Harold Powell. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Powell (Betty) of Hannibal, MO, Michael Powell (Debra) of Hannibal, MO and Harold Powell (Peggy) of Hannibal, MO; and his sister-in-law Mary Quigley (Pat) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
