He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strode and Mary Strode (Taylor); his brother Daniel Strode; and his nephews, Jason Strode, Lawrence Taylor Strode, Jr. and Daniel Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Karla A. Strode; his children, Joseph E. Strode (Christina) of Hannibal, MO and Melissa Boyer (Spencer) of Windsor, MO; his grandchildren, Lucille Strode, Joseph Marshall Strode, Jessica Strode, Devin Boyer, Morgan Boyer, Nick Williams and MacKayla Williams; his siblings, Julie Reese of Warrenton, MO, Larry Strode (Kathy) of New London, MO and Robert Strode (Vicki) of Wentzville, MO; his sister-in-law Mary Beth Strode of New London, MO; and his brother Raymond Spotanski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those planning on attending the visitation and funeral service are encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing.
