She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stull and Alma Stull; her husband William Schwanke; her siblings, Harold Sims, George Sims, Bob Sims, Harold Stone, Elmer Stone, Patricia Stone, Bertha Bloodgood, Rosie Sparks, Audrey Morgan and Almeda Willhausen; and her stepchildren, Charlene Schwanke, Richard Schwanke and James Schwanke.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ethel Vincent and Darlene Brashears; her daughters, Melody Johnston, Jenny LaForce, Carol Jameson and Tina Ward; her stepdaughters, Diana Goodman, Margaret St. Clair and Nora Meadows; her son Brent Schwanke; and her stepsons, Bill Schwanke and Danny Schwanke.
