He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bowler and Carrie M. Chapman Bowler; his son Carl Wayne Bowler Jr.; and his siblings, Leste Bowler, Coumau Bowler, Edward Bowler, Henry Bowler, Harold Bowler, Kenneth Bowler, Wilma Lawerance, Stella Shrumm, Delores Kenneth and Mary Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Pagett (David) of Hannibal, MO, Sandra Bowler (John Robertson) of Hannibal, MO, Melissa Holman (Mark) of Quincy, IL, Nora Holman (Mike Inness) of Quincy, IL and Lynn Bradley (Mike) of Brookfield, MO; and his sisters, Glenna Utley of Hannibal, MO and Helen Nair of Hannibal, MO. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
