He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ernerst Dyson and Dorothy Maybell Dyson; his siblings, Ray Dyson and Darlene Chapman; and also LaToya Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy McMillan; his children, Liza Herzberg, Christina Linder, Derek Wallace, Victoria Taganeca, Billie Dyson, Jr., Melissa Summers, Brenda Kay McNew, Jessica Patterson and Jennifer Patterson; his siblings, Charlie Dyson (Cindy), Claudia Sanford (Lester) and Tonnie Jones (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Caleb Shuck, Kody Shuck, Zachary Stice, Mika Taganeca, Victor Taganeca, Tatum Wallace, Kearrah Porter, Nevaeh Wallace, Jaqwain Wallace, Ethan Wallace, Mercadees Widebrook, Jennifer Widebrook, Domanick Widebrook and Tiana Gilbert; and his great grandchildren, Ivan Gilbert and Lashayleianna Gilbert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
