With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bette R Griggs of Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Valentik and Ruth Valentik (Kendall); her siblings, Steve Valentik and Carol Joyce Valentik; and her grandson Tyler Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Rex Griggs; her daughters, Rexenne Lowes (Mike) of Hannibal and Darcia Miller (Steve) of Greenville, SC; her brother Jim Valentik; her grandchildren, Greg Lowes (Tomi), Cory Miller, Audrey McCoy (Luke) and Bette Jean Reece (Michael); her sister-in-law Pat Valentik Martins; her great grandchildren, Olivia Rawlings, Madalyn Lowes, Abigail McCoy, Moriah McCoy, Eden McCoy, Ruby Mae Reece, Robyn Reece, Charlotte Ruth Reece, Ada Miller, Corban McCoy, Nolan Lowes, Lane Rex MIller and Judson Reece; and her friend Helen Linnenburger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews and cousins.
