She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermogenes Arroyo and Natividad Ayala. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Erick Calmet; and her children, Namir Massini (Danny Yim) of Boston, MA, Orlando Massini of Boston, MA, Julian Massini (Damaris) of Jayuya and Josue Massini (Vicky) of Jayuya. She is also survived by seven brothers; six sisters; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
